History
EBS and EBSnet are independently owned and operated corporations located in Groton Massachusetts. Peter Van Oudenaren, founder of EBS, Inc. created and released the real time embedded system industry’s first DOS file system in 1987.In the early 1990’s EBSnet, Inc. was established with co-founder Sarah Richardson to address the networking needs of the embedded industry with the release of their TCP-IP network stack. Working with OS and CPU developers across the embedded industry, EBS/EBSNet continues to ride the crest of current technology.

EBSnet offers a high performance real time operating system (RTOS), a TCP-IP network stack, a full suite of Application Protocols, a powerful HTML-based embedded GUI SDK, a Web browser, an SDK for UPnP™ certified devices, CIFS/SMB protocol, 802.11 wireless support, a portable DOS/WIN9X compatible file system with real time extensions and FailSafe support, and a CD ROM file system.
