Gigabit Ethernet Controller Driver

EBSnet's product line includes a Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver for the Intel 8254x family of Gigabit Ethernet Controllers. The Intel 8254x family includes a wide range of devices all supported by this one driver. Gigabit Ethernet was designed using the underlying Ethernet protocol. It increases the speed of Fast Ethernet to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps).

EBSnet has tested the 82546EB and 82546GB dual gigabit controller/phy devices, and the 82541 GI/LF single controller/phy device. The Gigabit driver is fully integrated with EBSnet’s RTIP TCP-IP network stack. A clean and easy to understand configuration file makes it simple to add the functionality of the Gigabit Ethernet to the network stack. I/O and kernel calls from the driver are mapped to the appropriate calls through a completely abstracted porting layer, RTPlatform.
